Elaine & Simon's Wedding

Simon and Elaine's wedding took place on a stunning Autumnal day, Saturday 15th October 2011 at the beautiful Papplewick Victorian Pumping Station, Nottingham. The Groom arrived in unique style on the back of a steam engine much to everyone's delight! The guests were invited to dress cordially in Victorian attire so it was top hats, canes bustles exploding with colour and character.

Following the ceremony (& keeping with the Victorian theme), The Wedding Party boarded a Beavertail Steam train travelling along the Great Central Railway line.

As the sun went down on the railtracks the train journey came to an end and the Bride a Groom led the way to Lovatt House to celebrate the day, raise a glass or two & be entertained by the equally colourful Dr Busker and his merry troupe.

A fabulously romantic day stepping back in time whilst a couple stepped confidently into the future together.

Here are the photos that tell the tale for your viewing pleasure.
